HI GUYS!
My name is Nga Thuy Ho. My American name is Tina. I choose this name because many Americans have felt difficult to pronounce “Nga”. Moreover, Tina has the same sound as “Thuy Nga” in VNese.
I used to work very hard in VN during 7 years. Most of my time was for work at a state-owned company, for students at a university, and for my beloved family. I didn’t have much time for myself. At that time, I thought I was happy when making others happy. However, I couldn’t do so even though I tried my best. Moreover, an incident in my life made me realize that I needed changing. I decided to change on the other day. After receiving a permission to temporarily stop working from my company, I returned school.
I left my country on March 9, 2008 and came to the U.S on the same day to pursue higher study. Now, I’m an MBA student of California State University, Fullerton. My concentration is Finance. I hope that I can finish my study in 2011. My father wish I could continue to get a Ph.D, however, an MBA is enough for me. I don’t want to direct all of my rest life to study only.
I like traveling and leaning more about different culture. I wish after graduation I can travel to some countries in Europe, Japanese, and Australia. I wish to work for a multinational group and move to offices around the world. When I get older, I will return my country and take care of my parents.
I love writing. This blog is one of the ways to practice my writing skill. I know that in order to catch a chance in the U.S, I need to be fluent in American language. So far, language has still been my biggest barrier.
Alright! Now I’m just making plans step by step and maybe my dream will come true someday…

Rise and Shine!
